Us here at the FanSided Network have high hopes for Rays Colored Glasses. We’ve seen this site set records for traffic and become as popular as it has ever been. But now we’re entering a time of transition. Devon Rogers, who wrote loyally and consistently for Rays Colored Glasses for 6 months, is leaving FanSided to pursue other interests, and I, Robbie Knopf, have taken over as editor. I do my best to give you the type of cutting-edge Rays analysis you desire on a daily basis. But no matter how hard I try, I can’t do it alone.
The season is about to begin and there’s so much potential in the air. The Rays could be primed for their best season in their short history and just maybe their first World Series championship. In order to cover this season to the fullest extent and provide Rays fans everywhere with incisive articles that provide interesting and pertinent information on their favorite team, I need help. Do you think you can help me?
I’m looking for dedicated writers willing to do their best to help Rays Colored Glasses grow even more. Whether experienced or inexperienced at sportswriting, any writer with the passion for the game of baseball and the Tampa Bay Rays can contribute to this effort. I’m willing to accommodate whatever ardent writers can do as long as they follow a few simple posting guidelines, mainly posting twice a week or eight times a month. The articles don’t have to be long, just impassioned.
This isn’t a paid position, but it has the opportunity to be the start of something. It’s something to put on your resume if you’re an up-and-coming writer, and it can lead to other opportunities down the road.
Have you other watched games and thought that you have something to contribute? Here’s your opportunity to do just that. Whether writing is something you want to pursue as a career or something that you would consider a fun hobby, this is your chance to be heard.
Do you think you have what it takes? The process is simple. Click the link below, fill out the FanSided writer application form, prove to me you have the passion for the Tampa Bay Rays and the game of baseball, and I’ll talk to you soon. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
