According to Ken Rosenthal, the Tampa Bay Rays are seemingly less likely to move James Shields at the trade deadline.
#Rays indeed cooler on moving Shields. Tough for them to act as buyer, though. Needs are SS, C – positions of scarcity in game.
Even though the Rays may not move Shields, it seems that Rosenthal still expects them to be sellers at the deadline.
And then there is this tidbit about Jeremy Hellickson during the game yesterday:
#Rays Hellickson said he got sick 5 or 6 times during the game, including once on the grass near the mound during the first inning
This illness makes his performance yesterday in the 2-0 victory over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim that much more impressive.
