With the victory last night, Alex Cobb set a new Rays record by recording a decision in 18 consecutive starts, breaking the mark set by Seth McClung from 2005-06. Cobb has also lasted seven innings in each of his last four starts, going 3-1 with a 1.93 ERA over that stretch.
