Spring training is a very fun time in the baseball season, but what’s it very frustrating is that the vast majority of games aren’t broadcast on TV, leaving fans either listening to the radio or checking the boxscore the next morning instead of watching their favorite play. Several of the Rays’ regulars will see time in this game, but the real player to watch will be Matt Moore, who had just a 9.00 ERA and a 3-4 strikeout to walk ratio in 4 spring innings pitched as mechanical issues have thrown off his command. The Rays are hoping that this is the game that everything comes together for Moore.
