Rays stay alive

With their backs against the wall, the Rays finally came to life in game 3 of the ALDS and push the series to game 4 tomorrow. Matt Garza did just enough and the offense came to life with key hits and showed some power from sources that have been quiet so far this series.
Matt Garza pitched 5 solid innings and got 5 big strikeouts, calming his emotions and his fastball and making big pitches when he needed too. The bull pen shut the door down, Benoit and Choate took over for Garza and Soriano closed the door in the ninth (gave up a home run, not like him there). The Rays finally got the solid start they needed after Price struggled and No Game Shields fell off the mound. Garza was able to keep it close for the offense to finally awaken.
The offense came to life as well with clutch hits, Upton and Johnson had solid hits. Pena had the big go ahead hit late that put the Rays ahead and Crawford also tacked on a home run. Longoria struggled in this game again, getting everything on the ground and not seeming to have the speed to leg out ground balls, his hamstring might not be right yet, but he is still in there for solid defense. Joyce was quiet along with Rodriguez, they will need to get hitting as well if the Rays are going to continue to stay alive in this series.
The Rays will hand the ball to rookie Wade Davis tomorrow as they hope to turn this game around and put the pressure onto Texas. Should be very interesting to see what the Rays can do tomorrow and if they can extend the series.
