Going to game 5

Somehow, someway, the Rays have made it a true series, game 5 will be on Tuesday night as the Rays return home for a winner take all game. Wade Davis pitched a gem and the bull pen behind the arms of Benoit, Balfour, and Soriano shut down the Texas offense and won game 4 to keep it going.

Davis was masterful, shutting down the power of Texas and locating his fast ball all afternoon, striking out Guerrero on a big bases loaded position. The offense continued to back up the pitching with 5 more runs. Evan Longoria had a home run and a double, seeming to be back in form (he is not running well as his quad is not healthy yet). The big surprise of these two games has been Carlos Pena. Pena had his first triple of the season and drove in key runs to keep the offense going, even B.J. Upton had two hits. This is a great sign for the team as they were shut down in the first two games of the series (both road teams have won both games in this series). Let’s hope they can keep it going, more to come on this incredible series.
