The Rays finally got their bats going and Matt Garza and the bull pen did the rest as the Rays were able to stay alive for another night in Arlington. The Rays have to keep it going today to try to get the game back to the Trop. The Rays are sending rookie Wade Davis to the mound to try to keep it going. Davis is 12-10 this season, but the numbers don’t tell the full story. Wade had a bad summer, but since the roughing beginning to the season, he has been fairly consistent, locating his fastball and mixing up his pitches. He has become one of the most consistent pitchers in the rotation and maintains his composure on the mound. The Rays will need him at his best as Texas will come out swinging, try to win this series at home and avoid heading back to St. Petersburg where anything can happen in game 5.
