Neftali Feliz wins AL Rookie of the Year

Neftali Feliz has won AL rookie of the year. The flame thrower for the Rangers took over as their closer and never hesitated. He emerged as one of their better pitchers as the season wore on.

Wade Davis finished in 4th place. The Rays rookie pitcher finished the season with 12 wins and truly got better as the season ended. He won a pivotal game in the playoffs in Arlington as well to keep the Rays alive. Catcher John Jaso finished 5th in the voting. Jaso excelled as the leadoff hitter and worked on hard on improving his defense as well.

These young players are just two more reasons of hope for this young and exciting team.
