Tampa Bay Rays Press Conference Scheduled for Tuesday

The Tampa Bay Rays will hold a Press Conference Tuesday February 1 at noon ET  from Tropicana Field to introduce the newly acquired  Manny Ramirez and Johnny Damon.  The announcement can been seen live on the Rays website.

I am interested to see what number Manny Ramirez will don in his Rays uniform.  He wore No. 24 in Cleveland and then also in Boston before switching to No. 99 upon his arrival in both Los Angeles and Chicago.  If nothing else, Tuesdays press conference will provide you with a glimpse of what to expect from these two newcomers.

During their glory days in Boston, both Johnny Damon and Ramirez were quick-on-the-draw when it came to spouting off a one-liner and were a prominent fixture in the Boston media.
