On the Road, they look like kings. At home, not so much.  If the Rays really want to do something about their attendance woes, they could start by giving home fans the same kind of show they take on the road.

The Tampa Bay Rays sport the MLB’s best road record, winning 13 out of 18 to take them to the top of the AL East, but so far Tropicana Field hasn’t been nearly as kind. Baltimore on the other hand, has beaten the Rays four out of five tries at the Trop so far this season. Last night’s win evened up the series at one a piece, and Baltimore would like nothing better than to head into Boston with a three game series against the AL East leaders in their back pocket.

Brad Bergesen, who has struggled for most of the season, came into the Trop 0-5 with a 9.13 ERA against the Rays in his career. Bergenson’s first win was also a complete game shutout, turning the tables on the Rays after Hellickson’s gem on Friday.
