Rays and Yankees Postponed

The Derek Jeter show has to wait another day as the Rays and Yankees were postponed tonight. Jeter is still two hits away from 3,000. Now David Price, who gave up his first hit to Jeter, and James Shields have the challenge of keeping him hitless.
The makeup game will be tacked on to a two game series at Yankee Stadium on September 22. The rainout doesn’t really affect the Rays that much except that Jeremy Hellickson is skipped. That’s probably a good thing, as he probably won’t start until next Sunday night against Boston. Now he has a chance to rest his young arm.
I’ve had tickets to all of three games this year and two of them have been rained out. I definitely haven’t had the best of luck.
