Christmas Wish List

I hope everyone is having a great Christmas so far and you got everything you wished for. Now, for an interesting question. What should be on the Rays Christmas list? Earlier in the week, Fansided’s Call to the Pen wrote a post highlighting Christmas wishes for all 30 teams. Rays Colored Glasses’ own Robbie Knopf wrote the Rays wishes. He wished for “a catcher who he can both hit and play defense, and a good first baseman not named Casey Kotchman.” What else should Rays fans be hoping for? My wishes after the jump.
Here are my Christmas wishes for the Rays:
- A power hitting veteran first baseman like Carlos Pena
- A trade for Anthony Rizzo, Mark Trumbo, or Kendrys Morales
- A power hitter to hit behind Evan Longoria (Could be fulfilled with a first baseman)
- A smooth stroke from Reid Brignac
- A trade partner for Wade Davis or Jeff Niemann
Well, there you have it. Those are my top five Christmas wishes for the Rays this year. What are some of your Christmas wishes as Rays fans? Leave us your best wishes in the comments.
The Rays Colored Glasses staff would like to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas and we hope you are enjoying your day with your loved ones.
