Around the Twitterverse: The Start of Spring

Spring Training officially got underway last Monday, but the first full squad workout was Sunday. The twitterverse was alive with tweets from Rays players on their first day of workouts. Matt Joyce bestows a high honor on Sean Rodriguez:

First day down, awesome to finally have all the guys there and have a full workout! I think Sean rod won player of the day award..

Moving on from Sunday, Elliot Johnson was all a-Twitter this week. Johnson had a good assessment of the Rays pitching staff, from a batter’s point of view:
