One team played like a champion on Saturday. The Rays came back from an 8-0 deficit with 10 unanswered runs in a dramatic 10-8 win that will be remembered for a long time. Dave Haller tweeted this when the Rays were down 8-0.
The largest comeback win in Rays history was an 8-run deficit, 7/25/09 at TOR. Trailed 9-1, won 10-9. #justsayin

That feat has now been equaled.
"#Rays Pena: “What a great comeback. We showed a lot of heart.”— Marc Topkin (@TBTimes_Rays) August 19, 2012#Rays@samfuld5 said they were channeling Game 162 a bit tonight: “The similarities were pretty amazing. … It’s pretty freaky.”— Marc Topkin (@TBTimes_Rays) August 19, 2012Ironic since he also won Game 162 after a huge #Rays comeback RT @ramedy: McGee with the ol’ 5-pitch win— Toby Srebnik (@fsutoby) August 19, 2012"
Elliot Johnson has been in a funk of late in the batter’s box, but as a good luck charm, he’s as hot as they come.
Since the perfecto, 29 runs in 3 games. @ElliotJohnson9 has brought the lineup card to home each time.

What an incredible game and it has the potential to be the start of something special.
