Chris “Big Tree” Archer

The most dominant Rays starter needs a better nickname than this one, but it does point to how he became Archer the Ace.

"After one particularly rough stretch, Chris Archer spoke to the media after a game and spoke about how trees sometimes need a little weather to grow. After that, Archer took off and grew."

We should all put our heads together and come up with a better one for Chris, he deserves better. But still, for now, Big Tree will do. So long as he produces seedlings that grow alongside him, I’m happy!
