The Tampa Bay Rays need an expensive and ambitious offseason plan

If the Rays were to execute the plan outlined above they could reasonably expect to spend upwards of 50 million dollars just on the 2019 campaign and upwards of 85-100 million over the course of at least the next three years. This all depends, of course, on the contracts agreed upon between the players above and the Tampa Bay Rays Organization.

One thing is for sure, the Rays have the financial flexibility to make these types of moves in 2019 and the years that follow. The question is whether or not they are willing to embark on the most ambitious and expensive off-season in Rays history.
