Hopefully in a matter of 8 or so months the Tampa Bay Rays will be popping bottles of champagne   celebrating a playoff berth.

Hopefully, 2019 is just the beginning for a young team with even more young and talented reinforcements only a matter of years away.

Hopefully I am 5 for 5 when it comes to these predictions, because if I am, Rays fans including myself are in for a very exciting and successful year.

Here is to hoping that the Rays will be playing in October of 2019, that Blake Snell repeats as the Cy Young winner, that Tommy Pham finishes in the top ten of MVP voting, that Daniel Robertson truly arrives, and that Austin Meadows and Tyler Glasnow have a pair of breakout years.
