Tampa Bay Rays: Money matters, D-Rob, and Rotation
By Austin Reimann

With Matt Duffy rapidly approaching yet another stint on the IL (Injured List), Daniel Robertson has been surging and is well on his way to being named the starting third baseman come Opening Day.
"Matt Duffy should be getting anxious as the biggest threat to his job security is absolutely raking early on. So far, Robertson has played five games to Duffy’s one. He has gotten off to a hot start, hitting .538 across 13 at bats with a homer and a pair of doubles. With playing time at second base rapidly disappearing due to reliability of Joey Wendle and the fantastic start to spring for Brandon Lowe, Robertson will have to find playing time elsewhere. This playing time will likely come at third base, and he is making his case for the majority of the playing time."
If I had to bet, Daniel Robertson will be manning third base come March 28th at the Trop.
