The Tampa Bay Rays will win more than 90 games this season

The Tampa Bay Rays were a 90 win ball club a year ago, and that is including two eight game losing streaks, 31 one run losses, a 49-47 first half, and a 13-14 opening month (combining March and April)

Tampa Bay Rays fans remember how many soul crushing games the team lost in April, and once the dust settled post trade deadline, the team rattled off a 17-10 August, followed by a 19-9 September.

A year ago, the Tampa Bay Rays took on the NL East in interleague play and went 7-13, this year, the team plays NL West. A division that seems the Dodgers, the Rockies, and everyone else. the Giants are a laughing stock, while the Diamondbacks will take a huge step back. The Padres have greatly improved, but are not yet there in the sense of winning many ball games.

The Rays play in a tough division, that saw them finished below .500 against the Redsox and Yankees, and win the majority of their games against the Blue Jays and Orioles. The Orioles will somehow be even worse, while we wait and see what the Jays do once their young core is called up…scary.

Confidence rating: 6…It is hard to win games.
