THE TAMPA BAY RAYS ARE WINNING THE WORLD SERIES!

Hey, I told you it would be bold, right?

Seriously, it is not that far off. if you, like me, believe the Tampa Bay Rays are a shoe-in for a wild card spot with their division, winning a world series is not that improbable. Look at the 2014 Royals who almost won the whole thing from the wild card slot and the Giants who did win from that place.

Sure, they are not the odds on favorite, but once you get in anything can happen. It is baseball, and we boil down 162 game sample size to a single game, and an arbitrary run through the postseason that relies more on “magic” than actually being a great team in most cases.
