Stock up, stock down at Rays spring training

Stock Down: David Hess
It really doesn’t get much worse, in any stretch of baseball, than it did for David Hess this spring.
While he came in as a non-roster camp invite with little true expectation to make the roster, the Hess express hasn’t done much to make established bullpen arms sweat.
In 5.1 innings over four appearances this spring, Hess is responsible for an unreal fourteen runs over fourteen hits. He has been credited with two losses and currently carries a ridiculous .483 opposing batting average.
