Willy Adames ($4,100)

Willy Adames comes into the matchup tonight after driving in, and scoring the only run of the night last night. Which gave the Tampa Bay Rays a 1-0 win.

So far on the season Adames is hitting .242 with two home runs, and 4 RBI’s. He’s averaging 6.2 fantasy points per game so far this season.

Against Kyle Gibson, who is starting for the Rangers on Tuesday, Adames is hitting .750 in his career, including a home run.

Mike Zunino ($4,300)

Mike Zunino got the night off last night after catching two of three against the Yankees. He had a good series against the Yankees scoring two runs, driving in two runs, with a double, and homer.

In his career against Kyle Gibson Zunino is hitting .429 with two RBI’s.

Zunino is the eighth most expensive catcher on DraftKins tonight.

Nick Solak ($3,600)

My visitor selection of the night is Nick Solak. The former Tampa Bay Rays minor leaguer is off to a decent start so far in 2021, averaging 6.2 fantasy points per game.

In his career against Ryan Yarbrough Solak is 1-3. However, his only hit was a two-run home run. He is the only player on the Rangers roster that has knocked in a run against Yarbs.

My Tampa Bay Rays fade of the night is Austin Meadows ($4,800)

Meadows did have a nice series against the Yankees, but his career against Gibson hasn’t been good. Meadows is only hitting .167 off Gibson, with no RBI’s.

It is somewhat surprising to see Meadows struggle against someone like Gibson, but that has been the case so far in his career.

Could he break out, sure. But with guys like Franmil Reyes ($4,700) and Jesse Winker ($4,600) priced under Meadows tonight,  I would rather go in that direction.

First pitch tonight is 7:10 EST from Tropicana Field as the Tampa Bay Rays look to win game two of the series against Texas Rangers.
