It has been a series to forget for the Tampa Bay Rays through three games.
Although it looked promising after a game one victory against the Texas Rangers, the Tampa Bay Rays dropped the next two, and need a win Thursday night to salvage the split.
We brought you our first DFS DraftKings player selections article on Tuesday, and our picks were highlighted by our visitor selection.
Nick Solak was 2-4 on Tuesday with 2 RBI’s and scored twice himself.

Tonight, our Tampa Bay Rays selections feature two power-hitting lefties
Austin Meadows ($4,700)
Austin Meadows comes into the series finale against the Rangers tonight hitting .222 (2-for-9) on the series, with three walks.
A main reason I would consider spending the higher salary on Meadows tonight is his history off Jordan Lyles, the Rangers starter.
Meadows is 2-for-3 career off Lyles with a two-run home run.
However, it wasn’t just any home run. It was Meadows first career home run, in his third career MLB game.
Brandon Lowe ($4,500)
Brandon Lowe is my second Tampa Bay Rays selection of the night, fresh off his first home run of the season last night.
Unfortunately for the Tampa Bay Rays, it was the only run of the night.
Lowe also had a two-hit night on Tuesday, his first hits since the previous Friday.
Lowe has never faced Jordan Lyles in his career, but let’s be honest, Lyles is “just a guy” and he’s right handed. Lowe is a career .266 hitter vs RHP, with 26 of his career 38 home runs coming off righties.
Something to remember, Lowe can be played as a 2B as well as an OF in DraftKings, no matter where he actually plays any given night.
Charlie Culberson ($3,700)
My visitor selection of the night is Charlie Culberson. Culberson had a big night on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays when he went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, and an RBI double.
Culberson will look to continue to build on his strong start to the season, which sees him hitting .368 with a .400 on-base percentage.
Charlie will bat seventh tonight for the Rangers and play third. However, on DraftKings you can play him at 3B or SS.
My Tampa Bay Rays fade of the night is Manuel Margot ($3,400)
Manuel Margot had a two-hit night last night against the Rangers, but was hitless in the first two games of the series.
My concern for Margot comes from the Rangers starter, Jordan Lyles. Although they were former teammates in San Diego, Margot hasn’t fared well against him. Margot is hitless against Lyles in his career, 0-for-5.
First pitch tonight from Tropicana Field is set for 7:10 pm EST.
