Bet on Rays to Complete Sweep vs. Yankees on Thursday
The Yankees are a disaster of a franchise and the Rays should have no trouble completing the sweep on Wednesday.
It's official, the New York Yankees STINK!
They had a chance to make one final push in the AL East, but are already down 0-2 in their series against the Tampa Bay Rays, losing by a combined score of 10-3.
Will the Rays complete the sweep on Wednesday with Shane McClanahan on the mound? I absolutely think so.
I'll be betting on exactly that.
Rays vs. Yankees odds, run line, and total
Rays vs. Yankees prediction and pick
The Yankees are a complete disaster lately, ranking 24th in OPS (.691), 27th in batting average (.225), and 27th in total runs scored (41) over the past 14 days.
The Yankees also made no significant moves at the dead line, the playoffs seem like nothing but an improbable dream, and their fanbase is completely fed up with them. I have no interest in betting on them in any way until they show some sign of life, and at this point I don't know if they will again in 2023.
Gerrit Cole gets the start for the Yankees tonight, but he's been bad against the Rays this season. He has already made two starts against them, giving up 13 hits and seven earned runs in just 10.0 innings pitched.
This is a no-brainer of a bet. Give me the Rays to complete the sweep. Please feel free to join me on this wager.
