Rays Announce the Return of Fan Fest, February 18th, 11am-3pm
Fans, this is not a drill, but Rays Fan Fest is BACK!
Today, the Rays announced via the team's Twitter account that Fan Fest will make its return after a 2-year hiatus, technically, as the event will be hosted at Tropicana Field before the start of Spring Training.
The last two years, the Rays have not hosted an in-person and fully immersive Fan Fest, with 2021 being a drive-through event and 2022 being scrapped all together.
According to the team's website, the event will feature "a charity yard sale benefitting the Rays Baseball Foundation, opportunities to interact with your favorite players, games, inflatables, mascots, an entertaining stage show, and first access to purchase Rays 25th Anniversary merchandise."
The event is free for Rays fans, but tickets must be secured via the team's Fan Fest page. The event will kick off at 11 a.m. EST, with Season Pass Members earning "early entry at 10," "presale access for player autographs," and "Fan Fest tickets automatically delivered to a season member's account," according to the team's site.
The event will run until 3 p.m. EST, and a schedule for the event and the activities should be out very soon.
For Rays fans who have never been, it is a truly fun and interactive day for fans, as it is your first true chance to get to meet and interact with your 2023 Tampa Bay Rays before the season. It should also be cool to get a chance to see the new Rays 25th Anniversary logo and gear, as there was a leak that revealed what the logo may look like for fans who are wondering.
All information and full details, though, are through the Rays main team site here with this link if you are planning on going to the best fan day for Rays fans.
