As if the former No. 1 overall prospect needed anything else to boost his stardom, he goes ahead and wins a Dominican Winter League MVP for his hometown club. Due to his rising success, Caminero was invited as a guest on Foul Territory, a popular podcast hosted by former major league players. The episode was titled "Junior Caminero's WILD Winter" and the 21-year old was able to give some insight on the behind-the-scenes of his remarkable LIDOM performance. Naturally, the hosts also asked about his feelings about the upcoming season with the Tampa Bay Rays.

When asked about the ballpark situation in Tampa, the 21-year old gave an honest and humble response. With the help of his interpreter, Caminero expressed, "With the location of the minor league park in Tampa, we will likely get a lot of sellout crowds which might make the environment more exciting." The fandom surrounding this young star will bring in more fans as well and the atmosphere could definitely be very vibrant.

However, the Rays success will also play a factor in attendance. Opening Day will almost certainly be a sellout crowd, but how the rest of the season plays out will be determined by how they perform. Junior Caminero will be the everyday third baseman for the Rays in 2025 pending any unforseen circumstances, so that will automatically give the offense a significant jolt. The Dominican third baseman is projected to hit .260 with 30 homers, but how will George Steinbrenner Field play into those potential results?

Well, the shorter dimensions will impact left-handed hitters like the Lowe's and Aranda more, but Caminero could take advantage of the short porch in right by driving outside pitches in that direction. In his small sample size of MLB time, the 6'1 righty has hit one opposite field home run in his big league career.

That homer was the first of his young career and it came off of former Blue Jays left-hander Tim Mayza. The right field wall in Toronto stands 328 feet away from home plate which is 14 feet further than Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. Needless to say, Junior Caminero's power potential should increase due to the size of the Rays 2025 ballpark.
