The Tampa Bay Rays are six days away from playing real baseball games! What are the six best promotions for this season?

The Tampa Bay Rays have a ton of great promotions to help get fans to the ballpark in 2019. So, let’s rank the top six in honor of being six days out of the season. Who knows, maybe this will be a guide for which games to go to…or stay away from if you do not like crowds.

Number six: Opening Day, March 28th, vs the Astros: Magnet schedule night.

What better way to get the season started promotion wise, than game one. A list of every game, with start times right at your fingertips on your desk, or on your Refridgerator, can be very, very valuable. Sure, they are all online, but I always prefer the good ole fashion magnet schedule.

Number five: April 21st against the Red Sox: Daniel Robertson wrist band night.

You know, it gets hot in the summertime, and you need something to get the sweat off you. Perfect for working out, perfect for wearing to a game, heck, perfect for any occasion. Besides maybe a wedding. You may think this is a weird promotion to crack the top six, but you would be shocked how many Daniel Robertson stans there are.

Number four: May 11th vs Yankees: Tropical shirt night.

Who doesn’t love a good tropical shirt? It says “I’m trying” while also screaming “I am fun and laid back” a great look for summer nights out on the town, or at the Trop!

Number three: June 16th vs Angels: Fanny pack night.

Oh fanny packs, they are making a comeback! I mean, think about how practical they are! You can keep your wallet in there, chapstick, your phone maybe, It is awesome! How many times have you worn pants that do not have pockets? Not an issue anymore with the Tampa Bay Rays themed fanny pack!

Number two: March 30th vs the Astros: Blake Snell bobblehead night.

Just go to the entire Astros opening weekend series. Such great promotions. This is actually a Blake Snell “Cy Zilla” bobblehead, playing on his nickname and CY Young award. This is an awesome looking bobblehead, and he will be around for at least five more seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays after his recent extension! (If you find yourself with an extra bobblehead, go ahead and find me on Twitter…I will tell you where to send it.)

Number one: April 20th vs the Red Sox Ryne Stanek bobble opener night.

This is the best promotion in the Major Leagues. I dare you to find something better than this. it is a bottle opener with the Ryne Stanek’s face on it obviously playing on his role as the opener. It is absolutely killer, and they got his hair perfect as you know they would. Use it to impress your fellow Tampa Bay Rays fans as you crack open some bottled beverages.

This is also a two for one as if you go to this game you get to see those sweet throwback Devil Ray uniforms as it is also Devil Ray day.

Honorable mentions: Willy Adames bottle head night August 17th against the Tigers, and Tommy Pham bobblehead night against the Twins on June first.

Next. Opening Day countdown: 7 teams to beat in 2019. dark
